The Canadian Construction Association (CCA) works closely with integrated partner associations to identify the various training needs across the construction industry. To serve the CCA membership, the association and its member organizations develop and deliver various training courses across Canada. The following are the training opportunities available from CCA through the integrated partner associations.
Offered through the CCA Partner Associations, the objectives of this course are to analyze the LEED Green Building Rating System™ for New Construction and Renovation and investigate the project certification process. It will identify project stakeholders and address their roles and responsibilities, and address the procurement and delivery process, evaluate the risks and contract issues on LEED projects, aid in predicting the impact of LEED Certification on project cost and identify the tools for successfully managing projects seeking LEED Certification.
This course is intended to provide a comprehensive introduction for administrative and clerical staff in the processes associated with the construction industry. Offered through the CCA Partner Associations, participants will be taught the roles and responsibilities suitable for becoming key administrative personnel in various areas of the industry, including construction associations, contractor companies, buyers of construction services, architectural and engineering firms. This course is also suitable for those new to the construction industry.
