 In February 2004, CCA joined with Natural Resources Canada to produce an energy reduction guide for Canadian roadbuilders. With the price of energy climbing consistently, this guide has the potential to save roadbuilders a great deal of money.

CCA 83 - Asphalt Plant Environmental Best Practices Guide
 At its meeting of 25 March 2004, the CCA Board of Directors endorsed CCA 83 - An Environmental Best Practices Guide for Hot Mix Asphalt Plants. This guide provides information on controlling emissions and odours, proper techniques for delivery and storage of asphalt cement and fuel, and environmental checklists.
